Wedding Wednesday: The Collins Wedding

It feels like it was forever ago and yet only just yesterday that I was running around trying to finish up details for the Collins wedding that was in August. This wedding is my first official Cinta Events wedding, and only 1 out of a handful that i have done ever. Thankfully i was working with a pretty amazing bride and groom who seriously made the whole process so much fun and really allowed me the freedom to be creative. I had so much fun with all the crafting and  working on all the little details that to me really make a wedding. Now that a couple months have gone by, and we now have the pictures back from the talented Katy Weaver I can finally really see what was done. That day was so hectic and i learned some oh so valuable lessons in what i would do again and what i would not do again. Thats what I love about event planning. You never know it all. Its a constant evolution regardless of how long you have been in the business.

I am so excited to be able to share with you some of my favorite prictures from the wedding! I will soon be posting an album on the facebook page with a few more. Thanks again to my amazing couple, Leah and Andrew. It was such an honor to be apart of your big day! And a big thank you to Katy Wever Photography! The pictures are amazing!

hope you enjoyed them!

Have a simply wonderful wedding wednesday!

i am alive.

I am happy to say that I have made it through the worlds craziest wedding week ever. Working a full time job, having a roomie moving out, house guests, and trying to finish up about 100 million wedding details makes for one crazy week. but thankfully i have made it to the other side and I am happy to report that it went great. We now officially have a Mr. & Mrs. Collins, and they were both truly glowing all day long. I had a beautiful, calm bride and that is truly all I could ask for.

I am so excited to see the pictures that miss Katy Weaver was able to capture from the big day. I was SO busy all day that it was hard to get my own pictures. So I will leave you with a few instagram shots from the weekend.

it was a great, and exhausting day. i owe a huge thanks to my amazing mother who is the best assistant EVER. I could not have pulled this off without her. And thank you to everyone who has listen to me go on and on about this wedding, and to everyone who helped craft and gave me support along the way. this isn't my first wedding but my first official wedding as Cinta Events. I can't wait to see what happens in the future!

Hope everyone has a simply amazing Monday!

i wish i was just busy

busy doesn't even begin to explain what life has been the last few weeks. hence my silence in the blog world. as i have mentioned before this last month as been JAM PACKED with different dinners and events, and weddings, and on top of that a full time job, oh and not to mention a whole lot of life events just happening to be going on at the moment to. haha. sometimes i think i might be crazy. then i look at my now 3 page to do list and it confirms that i am indeed crazy. but honestly, even though i am feeling the pressure of the wedding im doing next weekend i have never felt more at home. things are coming together, and even if my to do list is never ending things are slowly but surly getting done. And I am SO thankful for everyone who has been stepping in and helping out. They may seem like little things but you have no idea how helpful they are. I thankfully have had a couple good nights of sleep and today i am feeling refreshed, renewed and ready to make this final push. at the end of the day i oh so realize just how blessed I am to be able to do what I love. and i am proud of that.

i will leave you with some instagram shots of what has been going on the last couple weeks!

I must say the popularity of engagement shoots makes me very happy :) These shoots are so fun and can really be exactly who the couple are. So today's Weddings Wednesday is dedicated the the engagement shoots. Here are some great pictures and moments captured.

A majority of these pictures are from Amanda Wilcher. An amazing photographer. I love her engagement shoots. So glamorous and yet simply and fun.

The next couple are from Style me Pretty.
