For this edition of Wedding Wednesday I am dedicating it to balloons. Now don’t get me wrong I have never been the biggest fan of using balloons as décor, or a main aspect of a wedding. However, with the recent evolution of balloons and their massiveness and perfectly round shape they can have a fun place in a wedding. I absolutely love the look they can bring to pictures. And if used in the décor, they can also enhance the look without looking cheap and cheesy. So if you are thinking about using balloons there are a few key points to remember.

1. Shape. Perfectly round balloons are your safest bet.
2. Color. Please don’t choose random colors. There needs to be a point. a story.
3. Use and placement. Love balloons for picture purposes. Love balloons for a meaningful purpose. Love balloons that are meant to enhance the overall look.

Now on to the good stuff....

A fun yellow balloon engagement shoot!

An elegant approach to balloons. This was also a sentimental approach. Her grandmother was very close to her and passed away. The couple released the balloons before ceremony in honor of her grandmother. A beautiful way to remember someone.

A fun way to incorporate your guests! This was also the perfect way to use a shapped balloon. All the heart balloons floating up is quite the sight!

Another fun balloon picture!

Thanks to Once Wed, Style Me Pretty, and Brooklyn Bride for the great pictures!

Hope everyone has a simply wonderful Wednesday!
